Getting out and about is something that many people take for granted. However for those with disabilities it is not so straight forward. 

The blue badge scheme is designed to help disabled people with access to a car (you don't need to be able to drive / own a car) to have more flexible parking options available to them.

In many cases disabled people can apply for a disabled bus pass to give them the freedom to work, shop and socialise.
